I offer counselling and therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, working with both children and adults.
Some people come to therapy looking for targeted support—for example, help with anxiety, low mood, specific fears or phobias, stress, or navigating a particular life transition. Others are seeking a space to build a trusting therapeutic relationship, knowing that together we can explore the experiences, challenges, and conversations that feel most important to you.
In individual therapy, I often support people with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, identity questions, emotional regulation, and feeling “stuck” or overwhelmed by life.
In couples therapy, I work with partners who may be experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, disconnection, trust issues, the impact of life changes (such as parenting, illness, or work stress), or who want support strengthening their relationship and understanding each other more deeply.
In family therapy, I support families navigating challenges such as parenting stress, behavioural or emotional concerns in children or adolescents, family conflict, separation or blending families, and difficulties adjusting to change. The focus is on improving understanding, connection, and communication within the family system.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. Whether you have a clear goal in mind or are unsure where to begin, therapy can offer a supportive space to reflect, make sense of what’s happening, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way. If you would like to receive a Medicare rebate for our first 10 sessions, you will need to schedule an appointment with your General Practitioner to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan prior to beginning.
I approach counselling and therapy with a thoughtful, human-centered philosophy with clear communication and reliable results. I use plain language and offer practical suggestions along with a good listening ear.
You can reach out anytime via the contact page or email, I am always happy to talk with those seeking support.
Cost of sessions can vary depending on a few factors (length of session, whether full fee paying or receiving medicare rebate or funding through NDIS). Please contact me to discuss cost.
Session fees are payable in the session either by tapping your card to my square reader or by bank transfer. For telehealth sessions, I will email an invoice for bank transfer. Payment is required on the day of appointment.
I can process your medicare rebates for you if convenient or issue an invoice for you to claim.
For NDIS clients, I can either bill NDIS directly or if you prefer you can pay upfront and I can provide an invoice for you to claim back.
Collaborative, warm, honest, and straightforward. I am flexible and happy to structure sessions to suit you. You are welcome to book regular sessions or to book sessions as you need the support.
Confidentiality is a central part of counselling and therapy. What you share in sessions is treated with care and respect and will not be shared with others without your consent.
There are some limits to confidentiality, which I will explain clearly. These usually relate to situations where there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or where I am legally required to share information. Wherever possible, these situations would be discussed with you first.
If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, you are welcome to raise them at any time.
Sessions are generally 50-55 minutes unless agreed prior for an extended session of 90 minutes.
You do not need a referral to begin. If you would like to access the medicare rebate of $85 per session for the first 10 sessions you will need a referral from your GP. This is called a mental health care plan.
If you are experiencing an urgent mental health crisis, I would strongly encourage you to call 000 or go to your nearest hospital.
For mental health support, contact Lifeline (13 11 14) or Suicide Call Back Service (1300 659 467).
